The school was founded in the year 2004. It was inaugurated on 29th February 2004 by Late P.K. Dutta former administrator of Saint Mary's Montessori & Higher Secondary School, Dimapur. Madam Nina Dutta, principal Saint Mary's Montessori & Higher Secondary School was the guest of Honor. Mr. Amitabha Dutta, local MLA of that period was the special guest. The school started its journey only with 14 preprimary students, 2 Montessori trained teachers and 2 school mothers. In the year 2006 it was upgraded to primary level and planned to upgrade itself by a class each year. In the year 2012 the school was converted as a unit of a charitable trust namely Chitta Ranjan Siksha Trust with a vision to affiliate itself under Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. Accordingly in the year 2013 the school authority purchased around 2 acres of land approximately 3 kms away from township at Baruakandi Village. Then the authority appointed a renowned architect consultant from Kolkata to furnish the architecture along with structural plan of the whole school campus with all the modern facilities like school library, computer labs, science labs, state of art classrooms, modern toilets etc. The school authority applied for CBSE affiliation up to secondary level in the month of June 2014 and subsequently the affiliation was granted by CBSE on 16th February 2016. Presently the school is having 2 campuses. The preprimary level classes are established in the heart of the city named as TOWN CAMPUS and primary, upper primary and secondary classes are established at Baruakandi village named as COUNTRY CAMPUS having 500+ students altogether, served by 30 qualified teachers, 9 school mothers and 3 non-teaching staffs.
